Installation Guide

A pump-fed setup shown above directs water from the pump to the system, while filtered water returns to the pond via gravity through tubing, a waterfall, or a spillway box. All three models can be integrated into a pump-fed installation.

In a gravity-fed setup, the filter's water level must be aligned with the pond's level. A pump is used to return clean water back to the pond, while the filter receives water through larger diameter tubing, which requires some minor modifications. This configuration is compatible only with the EazyPod and EazyPodAir models.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance. In addition to backwashing the unit, which should be done based on the pond's nutrient load, it's important to check the UV quartz sleeve for any buildup and replace the bulb annually.
